Chris Gladden
Partner and Chief Strategy Officer
Chris Gladden has years of experience working on private equity transactions throughout a wide range of industries. This has given him a deep understanding of how to identify a healthy company and build the solid corporate structure and foundation that will position it for long-term growth and scale. This broad knowledge outside of the restaurant sector allows him to bring a fresh perspective to his role as Partner and CSO with Greenbriar Partners, often taking a unique approach to issues that others might not consider.
Chris is responsible for developing Greenbriar’s capital and channel partnerships and deploying capital for both debt and equity. He handles contract analysis, negotiation, and management for Greenbriar and its clients, as well as provides M&A advisory and structuring services. He is known for his honest and transparent approach as he works with clients to source new capital partners, manage their working capital, undergo organizational restructuring, and structure complex transactions.
BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Greenbriar, Chris was a Senior Associate with private equity firm Argenta Partners, where he analyzed incoming transactions, sourced new deals, managed new deal flow, created decks for capital partners, handled debt placements, worked with management teams, and was involved with the board of directors for multiple portfolio companies. He previously worked with PE firms Lantern Capital Partners and Glendon Todd Capital.
EDUCATION
Chris graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance, specializing in Alternative Asset Management, and a BS in Economics, specializing in Finance.
